IPRA Awards: Double nomination for Skills

All good things come in twos this time, because Skills has been nominated for the IPRA Golden World Awards 2022 with two projects. Our campaign for the initiative “Courage – Mut zur Menschlichkeit“ and our positioning work for MQ Libelle convinced the jury.

The Courage initiative, which has been supported by Skills since the beginning, was founded in September 2019 by actress Katharina Stemberger, among others. It calls for the rescue of people who have been stuck in refugee camps at the EU’s external borders for years under the most adverse conditions. Skills works pro bono for the initiative and supports its cause in a variety of ways as part of its comprehensive social commitment. Stefan A. Sengl, Managing Partner of the agency, was already part of the founding team of “Courage”.

Together with its client MuseumsQuartier, Skills was also nominated in the “Corporate Communications” category for its multi-channel campaign for the MQ Libelle. The MQ Libelle on the roof of the Leopold Museum was to become a “place to be” where the people of Vienna can enjoy their leisure time surrounded by high-quality art and culture. The central challenge was to communicate the planned opening of the MQ Libelle and the associated core messages to both stakeholders and the media despite the difficult conditions (closed restaurants and cultural institutions and the concentration of media attention on the Corona pandemic).
