EVVA – “Start-up for 100 years”.
Skills has accompanied the traditional Austrian company, (also) in its anniversary year.
Since its foundation in 1919, the family-owned EVVA company has been a pioneer in the development of innovative security solutions, and is now a world-class manufacturer of mechanical and electronic locking systems, with ten subsidiaries throughout Europe and partners worldwide.
In line with this pioneering and innovative spirit, the motto for the anniversary year in 2019 was “EVVA – a Start-up for 100 years”. And this was also to be used as an opportunity for a communication offensive. To this end, Skills designed a communication strategy with targeted storytelling for EVVA’s content areas – and communication opportunities – such as foundation and milestones, innovations and patents, digitalisation and Industry 4.0, CSR and location. On the one hand, all communication measures towards stakeholders, business partners and employees were based on this content structure. On the other hand, the range of topics developed in narrative form served to cover the most diverse content possible in media work – and thereby to maximise the potential results.
In addition to the ongoing media work with targeted pitching for exclusive stories (especially in media with broad public appeal), an international media event was held after a stakeholder and staff event, to wrap up the communication offensive. The expected number of participating (international) journalists was far exceeded, and the impressive results of the media response analysis confirmed the success of the activities throughout the entire anniversary year.
