New customer: Institute for Internal Auditing

Since 1961, the Institute of Internal Auditing (IIA Austria) has been committed to the promotion and development of internal auditing and its representatives in Austria. The non-profit and politically independent organization currently has almost 2,000 members from all areas of internal auditing.

In the future, The Skills Group will support the training organization and interest group of internal auditors in Austria as a competent partner in various communication agendas and will be responsible for strategy consulting, positioning and media relations. The first joint activities will include the implementation of an Austria-wide report on internal auditing in Austria and a mentoring program for young talents in the field of internal auditing.

“The demands on companies – and thus also on internal auditing – are continuously increasing. Survivability and transparency of companies and organizations are on everyone’s lips, and the pandemic has redefined many risk profiles,” says Thomas Schwalb, Managing Director of the Institute of Internal Auditing. “We chose Skills because they are considered experts in complex topics and bring extensive expertise. We are convinced that we have found the right communications partner for us.” Jürgen H. Gangoly, Managing Partner of The Skills Group, who is handling the account together with PR consultant Verena Scheidl: “We are convinced of the importance of internal auditing for companies, organizations and ultimately for the reputation of Austria as a business location. The diverse areas of activity and industries offer broad scope for exciting projects. We are looking forward to this challenge and to pushing the overall image of the Institute of Internal Auditing.”
