Mauthausen Committee Austria

Social commitment is lived daily by Skills – this also applies to the free support of the Mauthausen Committee Austria and its numerous projects.

The Mauthausen Komitee Österreich is a non-partisan, non-denominational NGO which stands up for democracy and human rights for all. In addition to a strong commitment to youth work, two international events are held annually to commemorate the victims of the National Socialist regime – the Memorial Ceremony at Mauthausen Concentration Camp and the Festival of Joy at Vienna’s Heldenplatz.
Each year, more than 10,000 people come to each of the events to commemorate the victims and to urge “Never Again”. Skills supports the Mauthausen Committee Austria in domestic and international press relations. This includes interviews with concentration camp survivors from all over the world, classical media work, social media strategy and implementation, coordination of press statements with politicians and much more.

Press information (in German) about the different projects of the Mauthausen Committee Austria can be found here.
