The Innovation in Politics Institute

The Innovation in Politics Institute was founded as a private civil society initiative by a group of European citizens in Vienna. Its mission is to find new and effective solutions to political challenges and to publicise them across Europe. The annual Innovation in Politics Awards Gala honours the best political projects from across Europe, regardless of party affiliation, political level or country. Projects from all 47 Council of Europe member states are eligible for nomination. The jury consists of 1,000 European citizens who evaluate projects in nine categories: Civilization, Community, Democracy, Ecology, Freedom, Human Rights, Employment, Prosperity and Quality of Life.
