Founded in 1922, Privatbank Gutmann specialises in asset management, in which it is the market leader in Austria. The bank is 80 percent owned by the Kahane family, with 20 percent held by executive and non-executive partners. Gutmann currently manages client assets of EUR 25.5 billion (as of Dec. 31, 2020). This figure has doubled since 2008. Clients include domestic and foreign entrepreneurs as well as families, foundations, high net worth individuals and institutional investors. The long-established company has received several awards as the leading private bank in Austria, in the German-speaking region and in the CEE countries.
