The E-Center of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce bundles all e-activities of the WKÖ. It coordinates positions of the Chamber on the conditions for e-business and sets priorities in thematic orientation (e.g. electronic invoicing, electronic procurement).
Focal points of these activities include coordinating the digitisation initiative KMU DIGITAL, organising E-Day, the WKÖ’s largest and best-known digitisation and e-business event, and the digital.now roadshow (formerly TELEFIT), the largest e-business roadshow for small and medium-sized enterprises in Austria. Both events deal with current developments in digitisation and the possible applications of information and communication technology in e-business.
