Innovation in Politics Awards
For a better democracy in Europe, the Innovation in Politics Awards annually honour the best European initiatives for a better togetherness.
The Innovation in Politics Institute was founded as a private civil society initiative by a group of European citizens in Vienna. Its mission is to find new and effective solutions to political challenges and make them known throughout Europe. The annual Innovation in Politics Awards Gala honours the best political projects from across Europe, regardless of party affiliation, political level or country. Projects from all 47 Council of Europe member states are eligible for nomination. The jury consists of 1,000 European citizens who can evaluate projects in nine categories: Civilization, Community, Democracy, Ecology, Freedom, Human Rights, Employment, Prosperity and Quality of Life.
The Skills Group handled the pan-European press relations for the Innovation in Politics Awards 2019 in Berlin. Skills was the one-stop-shop for all press needs of the invited European journalists. The scope of duties ranged from travel support to interview coordination and preparation of multilingual press materials, as well as coordination and support of the media on site in Berlin.
