Mehr Zuhaus’ in Österreich!

„Mehr Zuhaus’ in Österreich!“  is an initiative by leading companies and institutions in the Austrian construction and building materials industry to promote housing construction in Austria. It was launched to draw attention to the impending housing shortage, rent increases and rising unemployment caused by the current backlog in housing construction. The initiative has drawn up a housing agenda with concrete proposals and demands to meet the increasing housing needs of a growing Austrian population, including changes to lending guidelines for housing construction, subsidy reforms, investment incentives and a reduction in bureaucracy.
